Great Falls FCU History
Great Falls Federal Credit Union was founded in 1955 by dedicated shoe shop workers from Knapp Shoe, making it the first "industrial credit union" in Lewiston-Auburn.
Their vision was to build something lasting for the community, and for over 70 years, we have honored their legacy by remaining true to our core values of community, trust, and relentless hard work.
Our credit union's growth has been shaped by strategic partnerships that share our mission of serving the community. In 1996, we merged with New Auburn Credit Union, formerly St. Louis Federal Credit Union, strengthening our presence in Lewiston-Auburn. More recently, in 2022, we welcomed Monmouth Federal Credit Union further expanding our ability to offer valuable financial services and support to even more members
As a member of Great Falls FCU, your financial well-being is our priority. Whether you're purchasing a new car, buying a home, or building a nest egg, we're here to offer competitive rates and exceptional service every step of the way.
